2nd annual car show , the argyle 21 jul

With recent events and high temperatures everywhere in the state, Estes Park might be the “coolest” of the cool! The 14th annual Coolest Car Show in Colorado starts at 9 a.m.

on July 4th, in and around Bond Park. Benefiting the Estes Park Museum, the event is sponsored by the Estes Park Museum Friends & Foundation, Inc. The show traditionally brings more than 130 cars representing makes and models from the iconic Stanley Steamer to this year’s addition of electric models.

“From Steam to Electric: Celebrating the Past; Pursuing the Future” is this year’s theme. Estes Park, the summer home of F.O. Stanley from 1904 to 1940, is the perfect place to present a classic car show.

The owners of these well-cared-for cars of the past and present enjoy being a part of this show, not only because of the beautiful venue, but they also appreciate the generosity of local businesses that support this fund-raiser.

Prizes donated for this year’s drawing for the participants of the show include: a gift certificate from the Dunraven Inn for dinner;
