Friendly felines will take the spotlight at a two-day cat show and adoption event open to the public next month at the Wood County Fairgrounds.
The Toledo RusTICAts club, affiliated with The International Cat Association, will host the all-breed championship show and household pet show at the fairgrounds' junior fair building on Feb.
8 and 9.
Over 100 cats from around the world and up to 40 different breeds will be featured at the show, according to a press release.
This show features the exhibion and judging of cats & kittens throughout the weekend.
The household show will feature non-pedigree cats, which have unknown ancestry.
The entrance is at Gate C off Poe Road.
RusTICAts also asks attendees to follow etiquette at the show, which includes not making loud or startling noises as it may scare the cats, procedures to follow when near judges and if a cat escapes its owner.
