Act 1[]

In the clubhouse, Jack and Mel are testing Mel's latest invention. This invention has two horns on each side. One side has a big horn, and the other side has a small horn. A pipe connects them.

Mel barks in the big horn, then runs over to the smaller horn. A quieter version of Mel's bark from the big horn comes out of the small horn.

Jack: (laughs) Gee-whiz, Mel! It works! It really works!

(runs to the big horn and shouts in it) HEY! (runs to the small horn to hear a quiet version, then talksto viewer) Hey, check this out, this is Mel's latest musical invention! The Sound-Switcher Thingy! Yeah, it makes loud sounds soft, and soft sounds loud!

Yeah, hey, get a load of this.

Here's a soft sound. (He walks to the small horn and whispers "ho", then runs to the big horn to hear a louder version, which briefly startles him)

Jack: Now it's a loud sound! Hey, who knew that loud and soft sounds could be so much fun!

Mel and Jack play their instruments. "Hey/Ho" is played. A montage of Jack and Mel playing with the Sound Switcher Thingy.
